Ouri Wolfson's main research interests are in big data, distributed systems, mobile/pervasive computing, smart city, and connectomics. He received his B.A. degree in mathematics, and his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. He is currently the Richard and Loan Hill Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is the founder of Mobitrac, a high-tech startup that was acquired by Fluensee Co.; and the founder and president of Pirouette Software Inc. which specializes in mobile data management. He served as a consultant to Argonne National Laboratory, US Army Research Laboratories, DARPA, and NASA. Before joining the University of Illinois he has been on the computer science faculty at the Technion and Columbia University, and a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories.

Dr. Dan Zhang is a Kaneff Professor and Tier 1 York Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at York University. Dr. Zhang was a Canada Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Automation and was a founding Chair of the Department of Automotive, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering with the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science at Ontario Tech University. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University, Canada, in June 2000. Dr. Zhang's research interests include synthesis and optimization of parallel and hybrid mechanisms; generalized parallel mechanisms research; reconfigurable robots; micro/nano manipulation and mems devices (e.g., sensors); rescue robots; smart biomedical instruments (e.g., exoskeleton robots and rehabilitation robotics); AI/robotics/autonomous systems; Aerial and Underwater Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for Robotics. Chuxiong Hu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechatronic control engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2005 and 2010, respectively., From 2007 to 2008, he was a Visiting Scholar in mechanical engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. In 2018, he was a Visiting Scholar in mechanical engineering with the University of California, Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor (tenured) with the State Key Laboratory of Tribology, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He has authored or co-authored nearly 140 papers. Xinde Li earned his Ph.D. in Control Theory and Control Engineering, from the Department of Control Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2007. Afterward, he joined the School of Automation, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, where he is currently a professor. He was an Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences elected in 2020 and a cover person of Scientific Chinese in the same year. He was a vice director of the Intelligent Robot Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence in 2017, and a vice director of the Intelligent Products and Industry Working Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence in 2019. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent robots, Machine Perception and Understanding, human-robot interaction, etc. He has undertaken many national key projects, i.e. National 863 key project, JKW key project, etc., and has published more than 80 high-quality papers and 2 books, and owns 17 national invention patents. He also won many prizes, i.e. international contribution prize, Scientific and Technological Progress Award in CAA, etc.

Hongliang Ren received his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering (Specialized in Biomedical Engineering) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2008. He served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Automation Science & Engineering (T-ASE) and Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing (MBEC). He has navigated his academic journey through the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Johns Hopkins University, Children's Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School, Children's National Medical Center, United States, and the National University of Singapore. He is currently an Associate Professor, the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and an Adjunct Associate Professor, the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. His areas of interest include biorobotics, intelligent control, medical mechatronics, soft continuum robots, soft sensors, and multisensory learning in medical robotics. He is the recipient of the NUS Young Investigator Award and Engineering Young Researcher Award, IAMBE Early Career Award 2018, Interstellar Early Career Investigator Award 2018, ICBHI Young Investigator Award 2019, and Health Longevity Catalyst Award 2022 by NAM & RGC.

Darius Burschka conducts research on sensor systems in robotics and human-machine interfaces. Video-based navigation is one of his particular interests. This involves the analysis and fusion of complex physical sensor systems and 3D reconstruction from the fusion of multimodal sensor data. The research is applied to industrial, service, automotive, and health robotics applications. After completing his studies in electrical engineering and his doctorate (1998) at TUM, Prof. Burschka became a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University, New Haven, USA. There, he made advancements in the development of laser-based map generation and position tracking. After that, he worked as an associate research scientist at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. His research topic was sensor-based navigation and 3D reconstruction (1999-2005). He was appointed assistant research professor at the university in 2003. Since 2005, Prof. Burschka holds the position of professor of telerobotics and sensor-data fusion at TUM. He works closely with the Institute for Robotics and Mechatronics of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen.

Hiroyuki Kameda is a professor of the School of Computer Science at the Tokyo University of Technology in Japan, where he has been working over 30 years as teacher and researcher, and was a Dean of the School of Computer Science (April 2013-March 2017), an Advisor to President (International Affairs) (April 2009-March 2012), and a Professor of the School of Computer Science (April 2007-Present). He graduated from the University of Tokyo in Japan, received his Bachelor of Engineering (1982) in the Faculty of Electronics Engineering, Master of Engineering (1984) in the Faculty of Electric Engineering of the Graduate School of Engineering, and Doctor of Engineering (PhD) (1987) in the Faculty of Electronic Engineering of the University of Tokyo. He was received some awards in the field of ICT-based education. He was a member of IEICE (The Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers), where he was a chairman of committee of Thought and Language. His research activities are were as follows; The core of his research field is Thought and Language. He has been studying various topics in this research field from the interdisciplinary viewpoint of Computer science, applied informatics, applied linguistics, cognitive science, medical science, health care science, the science of education and etc. for about 30 years. He developed a communication robot PDDIN with an artificial mind to express itself and also guess other's states of mind based on it. He has been also engaged in the studies of acquiring new knowledge, especially, unknown words and unknown syntactic rules by machine learning methodology, e.g., Inductive Logic Programming, and he proposed a new methodology of dynamically changing a running program based on processing mode when unknow words appears in input text. At the same time, He has been interested in the education of software engineering, e.g., advanced teaching materials and various kinds of teaching methods mainly for software education for novice students, i.e., those in the first year of university. And recently, Last year, he newly started to study metaverse technology, where people learn a foreign language or share things to realize some SDGs.

Bo Wang is an Associate Professor in Statistics at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, UK. He received his BSc in Mathematics in 1994, the MSc in Operational Research and Control Theory in 1997, and the Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2000, all from Shandong University of China. His research interests include statistical modeling, computational statistics, machine learning, and mortality modeling and forecasting. He has authored more than 40 papers, many of which were published in prestigious statistical or machine learning journals, and the paper published in the Journal of Nonparametric Statistics in 2011 received JNPS 2011 Best Paper Award. He is an investigator of several projects funded by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, the European Unionand the University of Leicester. Dr. Wang is a reviewer for more than 80 journals/funding bodies and has been an invited speaker at a number of high-profile international conferences. He is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, an associate editor and guest editor of Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and an editorial board member and guest editor of Mathematics.

Hoshang Kolivand is an Associate Professor in Human Computer Interaction at Liverpool John Moores University, UK and a Visiting professor at Barath University, India. Andry Maykol Pinto is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto and a Senior Researcher at INESC TEC. He concluded the Doctoral Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in 2014. He is the Principal Investigator of many robotics-based O& M projects financed by national and European funds. His research has numerous publications in top- ranked journal's impact in areas related to mobile robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, multi-modal perception, information fusion, and underwater imaging. Currently, Andry is coordinating the ATLANTIS project which has established a large-scale pilot infrastructure for demonstrating key enabling robotic technologies for inspection and maintenance. The ATLANTIS Test Centre was installed in Viana do Castelo and it aims to promote robotics in supply chains by demonstrating the benefits role in terms of increased IMR efficiency and reduced life-cycle costs for offshore wind farms.

My research addresses why and how students learn on and offline. A considerable portion of my recent work is focused on interest development within and across formal education (with and without educational technology). I have a longstanding (20 years), personal interest in the potential role of Bots within student learning. My recent empirical work looks at how they might fit into students' classroom experiences through existing school curricula (Qian et al., 2023). As bots expand their presence throughout education, a more comprehensive model is necessary. In a recent position paper, I proposed that basic psychological needs (competence and relatedness) frame co-piloting (human-AI) instruction, which is certain to dominate education in the years to come (Fryer, 2023). Joao M. Costa Sousa, is Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal. He is the Coordinator of the Center of Intelligent Systems, IDMEC. He received an MSc in mechanical engineering from IST in 1992 and a PhD in electrical engineering from the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 1998. He has authored one book and more than 200 papers in journals and conference proceedings. He has supervised more than 80 PhD and MSc students. He participated in more than 20 research projects, being the Principal Researcher in seven, five of them with industry, in intelligent automation, machine learning, digital twins, optimization, and artificial intelligence, applied to different areas such as energy, health, manufacturing, and services. He was the Principal Investigator of an industrial project in the scope of Industry 5.0 with the pharmaceutical industry(total budget: 1.4 million euros). He is Associate Editor (AE) of IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, Sensors and Fuzzy Sets and Systems. Klaas Koerten is originally from Haarlem, the Netherlands. With some side projects focusing on Architecture and Industrial Design, he graduated from the Delft University of Technology on the topic of human-machine interactions, which focused on designing control interfaces that humans and automated systems operate simultaneously. The goal of this was to make optimal use of the qualities of humans and automated systems. In 2021 he started as a researcher of hospitality robotics at Hotelschool The Hague. One of the first findings in our research was the fact that there is a dichotomy between robotics research and hospitality research. The research at Hotelschool The Hague aims to be an early step in closing this gap. When robotics and hospitality researchers join hands, new aspects of hospitality robotics can be explored that as of yet are unheard of. If designed the right way, the resulting solutions could contribute to more efficient hotel management, more consistent quality, more interesting jobs for hotel employees, and more hospitable experiences for hotel guests.

Deborah Dahl works on innovative, practical, and scalable conversational systems that push the boundary between theory and applications. She has a long-standing interest in standards and interoperability of conversational systems, including work on the DARPA Air Travel Information System and voice and multimodal standards in the World Wide Web Consortium. As Principal of Conversational Technologies, she assists her clients in creating state-of-the-art conversational solutions. In addition to her work at Conversational Technologies, she is currently the Senior Advisor for Interoperability Content for the Open Voice Network. She has written many technical papers and three books, most recently Multimodal Interaction with W3C Standards: Toward Natural Interfaces to Everything. Her fourth book, Natural Language Understanding with Python, is scheduled for publication in 2023. Dr. Dahl has a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Minnesota with post-doctoral studies in cognitive science at the University of Pennsylvania.

Francis Govers has contributed to the design of over 30 manned and unmanned land, sea, air, and space vehicles. He currently is the Associate Technical Fellow for Autonomy at Bell Textron and is the founder of the Bell Autonomy Department. He is an Air Force veteran, was head of command and control for the International Space Station, Deputy Chief Engineer for Unmanned Systems at the US Army Future Combat Systems, Chief Engineer of Elbit Systems of America, CTO of Gamma 2 Robotics, participated in the DARPA Grand Challenge, and managed a Zeppelin airship. He was VP of Engineering for the "Yellow Line" for NFL football and designed the onboard telemetry systems for NASCAR and IndyCar. He has published 48 articles and papers and authored the book "Artificial Intelligence for Robotics". He received five outstanding achievement awards from NASA, recognition from Scientific American for "World Changing Ideas", and was named by the Vertical Flight Society as a "Titan of Autonomy". Francis earned his Master of Science degree from Brandeis University.

Dr. Ying Bai is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Johnson C. Smith University. His special interests include but are not limited to artificial intelligence and robotic controls, soft-computing, mix-language programming, fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making, and robotic calibrations. Since 2003, Dr. Bai has published twenty (20) books with world-leading publishers such as Prentice Hall, CRC Press LLC, Springer, Cambridge University Press, and Wiley IEEE Press. His first and eighth books were also translated into Russian and Chinese by Prentice Hall and Tsinghua University Press in China in 2005 and 2011. Most books are about multi-language programming, database programming, fuzzy logic control technologies, classical and modern controls, and microcontroller programming. His 21st book titled, Practical Applications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with MATLAB, is under a contract with McGraw Hill and will be published in 2024. Besides those books, Dr. Bai also published more than 65 peer-reviewed international journal and conference papers since 2003, including some IEEE Trans. journal papers and IEEE international conference papers. Xinzhu Bei is an accomplished Applied Research Scientist at Meta Platforms, Inc. (formerly Facebook), with over 7 years of research experience in various fields of Computer Vision. She completed her Ph.D. at the Computer Science Department of the University of California, Los Angeles. During her career, Xinzhu has made significant contributions to the field of Computer Vision, particularly in video object tracking, video analysis, and scene understanding. Markus Ryll is a Professor at the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy at the Technical University of Munich, where he directs the Autonomous Aerial Systems Group. Furthermore, he is the leader of the Robotics Sector of the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI). His research interests lie at the intersection of robotics, control, perception, and manipulation, with the goal of enhancing the autonomy, agility, efficiency, and robustness of aerial robots when interacting with the real world. After a PhD at Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, from 2014 to 2017 he was a post-doctoral researcher at Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (LAAS) within the Robotics and Interactions Group. From 2018 to 2020, he joined the Robust Perception Group at the Computer Science &Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-CSAIL). Dr. Francesco Carravetta is a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Systems Analysis and Computer Science, of the National Research Council, in Rome, Italy, where he has been leading research in Cybernetics for almost three decades. His research interests have been concerned specifically with mathematical control theory, filtering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and signal processing. He has held visiting positions at University of Virginia, USA; at the Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, and at the University of Adelaide, Australia, where he has had various research appointments for the last ten years. His research activity deals presently with the investigation of the connection among computability, nonlinear control, and differential algebraic geometry, as well as stochastic syntactic processes and their usage for the solution of inference problems.

Samson Damilola Fabiyi is a Teaching Fellow at the School of Computing, University of Leeds, Leeds, U.K. He received the B.Eng. degree (with first-class honors) in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2015, and the M.Sc. degree (with distinction) and the Ph.D. in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. in 2018 and 2022, respectively. His research interests include computer vision, hyperspectral imaging, machine learning, software development, internet applications, and pedagogy.

Dr. Federico Pallottino Has a Ph.D. in Food Biotechnology, since2017 permanent Researcher and from 2021 Senior Researcher at the Research Centre for Engineering and Agro -Food Processing (CREA-IT), Monterotondo (Rome) of the Council for agricultural research and economics (CREA).He is the winner as co-author of the Award for Best Research Published by CREA Staff in 2011. In 2010 he was awarded the Young Researchers Award at the III National Conference of the Italian Society of Sensory Sciences in Naples. Reviewer appointed by ANVUR for the Evaluation of Research Quality (VQR) 2011 - 2014, CREA teacher for the technical-scientific areas relating to image analysis, colorimetry and morphometry. Reviewer of international projects for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as part of the scientific cooperation agreement between Italy and Israel (2015) and for the "Ministry of Education and Science" of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Bruno Silva is the Head of Research and Development at Muvu Technologies. He obtained his MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic of Leiria (Portugal) and is currently doing his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence to Improve Production Processes at UPC Barcelona Tech (Spain). He is also a visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Polytechnic of Leiria and a Researcher at IRI CSIC-UPC (Barcelona). His research focus has been in the areas of Digitalization, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Industry 4.0, always applying real use cases in the industry.

Fabio Mendonca received the BS and MSc degrees in electrical and telecommunications engineering from the University of Madeira and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Instituto Superior Tecnico - University of Lisbon in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University. He works at the University of Madeira and is a researcher with the Interactive Technologies Institute - LARSyS. His research interests include sleep analysis, pattern recognition, and machine learning.

Dr. Xun Xu received his Ph.D. from Queen Mary University of London in 2016. He then worked as a research fellow with the National University of Singapore from 2016-19. He joined A*STAR as a research scientist in 2019. He is currently a Senior Scientist with the Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR. Dr. Xu is interested in semi-supervised learning, active learning, domain adaptation, and out-of-distribution detection with applications to 3D computer vision tasks. He has published more than 40 papers on top AI venues, including IEEE TPAMI, IJCV, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc. He won the A*STAR Career Development Award in 2021 for his work on label-efficient 3D point cloud deep learning and received A*STAR Niche Skill Allowance. He is an IEEE senior member.

Vimal Dwivedi received a Ph.D. and in Computer Science and Engineering from Tallin University of Technology, Tallinn, Estonia. His Ph.D. project was partially sponsored by Qtum Foundation, Singapore. As a part of their Ph.D. research, he has developed an XML-based smart contract language that allows non-IT blockchain practitioners to write smart contracts for business use cases. He is working as a Research Fellow in the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EEECS) at the Queen's University Belfast (QUB), Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, with Prof. Karen and Assistant Professor Vishal Sharma, under a project entitled, Digital twin and blockchain for business decision modeling. Before coming to QUB, he was a Lecturer in the Institute of computer science at the University of Tartu, Tartu, Estonia. Prior to this, he was an Early Stage Researcher with the Information Systems Group at TalTech. He serves as a Guest Editor for Mathematics and Computer Science. Vimal received his MTech and BTech degrees in Computer Science, and Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, India and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, India, respectively. Before starting his Ph.D., He worked as an Assistant Professor at A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University for 2 years, and taught subjects including Automata, Data Structure, Graph Theory, Machine Learning, and Web Technologies.

Tabassom is an internationally recognized control engineer and Bayesian modeler. She focuses on different aspects of machine learning and statistical techniques for decision-making and risk analysis. She has developed Bayesian modeling through her postgraduate and doctoral studies, and now her research career. She is currently part of the vision loss expert group and is working on WHO vision and eye research projects.

Amna Eleyan is working as a Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, Department of Computing and Mathematics. She has been rewarded with her Ph.D. in Software Engineering in the field of Web Services from the University of Manchester. She is a member of IEEE and she is a Fellow member of the Higher Education Academy 'HEA'. Her research interests include Computer Networks and Security, Cybersecurity, Distributed Systems, Web Services, the Internet of Things 'IoT', and Machine/Deep Learning. She has chaired various conferences, including ISNCC and SmartNets, as a Publicity chair, Ph.D. Student Forum chair, and track chair for Cloud Computing and Internet of Things 'IoT'. She has also served as a Technical Program Committee member and reviewed papers at conferences like ICT-DM 2016, ICFNDS 2017, and WD.

Pascal Lorenz Received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at World FIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences. Fadhil Mukhlif Received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tikrit, Iraq in 2010, his M.Eng. in Telecommunication Systems from University Technical Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia in 2013, and his Ph.D. in Computer Networks & Wireless from the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia in 2020. He is The Founder & CEO of AIGATE Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. This is a 4th-year Ph.D. student in the Electronic and Computing Engineering (ECE) Department of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I am supervised by Prof. Ming Liu Before joining HKUST, I received my bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Zhejiang University. My research interests lie in image-based 3D perception, 3D object detection, monocular depth prediction, autonomous driving, robotics, etc. During my Ph.D. study period, I participate in the deployment of the first commercial autonomous logistic vehicle Hercules. During the research period, I also gather experience in server management for the lab. In my leisure time, I enjoy spending my time in language learning.

Vusi Skosana carries out applied research on computer vision and machine learning for surveillance applications at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in Pretoria, South Africa. His research interests span image acquisition, enhancement, compression, and understanding. He has published conference papers and an article covering some of these topics. He obtained a BEng (Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering with the Advanced Sensor Networks research group from the University of Pretoria in 2021. He is currently completing his MEng in Electronic Engineering, looking into compressive sensing on Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks; he has already produced a journal article from this effort. He has previously worked for a partner of MathWorks, supporting, maintaining, and developing MATLAB toolboxes for the international market. He started his career performing systems engineering and software development for real-time systems in the defense industry.

Dr. Isidoros Perikos received the Diploma of Computer Engineering and his MSc and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, University of Patras. His main research interests include artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, affective computing, and learning technologies. He has published over 80 papers in international conferences, Journals, and workshops proceedings. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, and the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society.

Alexei G. Shishkin received an M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from the Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, in 1987, and a Ph.D. degree in mathematical modeling from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, in 1990. He received his D.Sc. degree in computational mathematics and mathematical modeling from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, in 2011. He was a Senior Research Worker and then Chief Research Worker with the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, at Moscow State University, starting in 1990. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, at Moscow State University. His current research interests include mathematical modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data mining, and digital signal processing. Prof. Shishkin is the author of more than 170 publications including 7 books. He was the awardee of the MSU Young Researchers program and MSU Outstanding Scientific Achievements Contest. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Modeling and Optimization, American Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He serves as a reviewer of several IEEE journals. Prof. Shishkin has been a chairman and a member of the program committees of a number of international conferences. He has been the invited speaker and the session chair at several conferences and symposiums.

Facundo Benavides is a full-time Adjunct Professor at the Computer Science Institute in the Faculty of Engineering (UdelaR). He is a Computer Engineer with a PEDECIBA/UdelaR Master's degree in Computer Science on "Robot Motion planning", and a Ph.D. from the Higher School of Aeronautics and Space, University of Toulouse (France) in Robotics and Computer Science from the PEDECIBA-UdelaR on "Multi-robot exploration under non-ideal communication conditions". He participates in and leads R&D projects on Mobile Autonomous Robotics applied to the public education system and also in projects on civil infrastructure inspection with terrestrial and aerial robots. His topics of interest are motion planning of autonomous robotic systems and coordination in multi-robot cooperative systems.

I am Ahmad Deeb, a postdoctoral fellowship at Khalifa University since June 2022 and working on the dynamics of biomembranes of red blood cells in blood flow. I earned my Ph.D. in Mechanics from La Rochelle University-France and Applied Mathematics from Lebanese University in 2015. I was an assistant professor for two years at La Rochelle University teaching courses for mechanical and civil engineering students. Since 2017, I have worked on 4 (including the present) different projects as a postdoctoral fellow to contribute to developing numerical tools for problems in mechanics, fluid mechanics, and civil. I am interested in employing tools in Artificial intelligence to propose solutions for problems in civil engineering issues for instance hysteresis phenomenon. Recently, I proposed three novels processes that helped engineers to overcome some issues, namely a model based on axisymmetry to predict the hysteresis phenomenon for building materials, a variant technique of PGD that uses the Taylor series expansion and Pade approximant for nonlinear equations, and a technique to produce an error estimate of the numerical solution obtained by a basic numerical scheme using composition technique. I have an interest in developing numerical methods to enhance controlling tools in robotics, especially in quadrotor dynamics.

Alexander Serov, Principal Research Scientist, Research Group "Automatic Intelligent Data Acquisition" (RG AIDA). Alexander has more than thirty years of experience working in various fields of science and technology. In 1988 he was graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MPTI). He worked as a researcher and scientific software developer in Motorola Research Laboratory, Huawei Technologies, the University of Manitoba, and other research and development organizations. His expertise is associated with the numerical simulation of complex physical and technical systems. Alexander's research interests last time are associated with Cognitive Science and Artificial General Intelligence. His investigations are now concentrated in the field of Autonomous Intelligent Agents. The methodology of Artificial Subjective Reality proposed by him is implemented in a new type of architecture able to the transformation during cognitive evolution.
