Biography
Dr Aliyu Muhammad Born on 1st February 1982 in Sokoto, Nigeria, Dr. Aliyu Muhammad obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Cancer Research and Molecular Biology from the University of Ibadan in 2015. He is currently holding the position of Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry, Ahmadu Bello University. His research interests encompass translational cancer research, natural products, COVID-19, Neglected Tropical Diseases, and toxicology. With more than 12 years of academic experience, he has authored over 80 articles with a total citation count of more than 1565, an h-index of 21, and an i-10-index of 49. Notably, Dr. Aliyu has been honoured with prestigious awards such as the Senior Fulbright Visiting Scholar award and DKFZ Postdoctoral Guest Scientist award.
