Dr. Winifred Elysse Newman is the Mickel Professor of Architecture at Clemson University and the Associate Dean for Research and Academic Affairs. She also serves as Director of the Institute for Intelligent Materials, Systems and Environments (CU-iMSE), promoting digital and human-machine hybrid solutions as a paradigm shift in the design and occupation of the built environment. Dr. Newman concentrates on spatial perception in architecture, ecological psychology, and neuroaesthetics with active research in neuroscience and architecture, data visualization, mapping, STEM learning environments, and histories of technology and science. Dr. Newman is Executive Editor of the Journal for Technology, Architecture, and Design. Recent publications include Data Visualization for Design Thinking: Applied Mapping.

With three doctorates in chemical engineering, mineral processing, and business economics, Jannie van Deventer has knowledge and experience at the interface of technology, finance, and business. Jannie is CEO of Zeobond in Melbourne, Australia, and is an honorary professorial fellow at the University of Melbourne, where he was Dean of Engineering until 2007. Jannie van Deventer is one of the world's highest cited researchers in cement and concrete research, with a Scopus h-index of 96 and a Scopus citation count of more than 26,000. Also, he was recently ranked number 2 in the world in mining and metallurgy research by Stanford University. Jannie has received several awards for his research and has been listed three times as one of Australia's most influential engineers. Distinguished Professor Vivian W. Y. Tam is a world-leading researcher in the field of construction engineering and management. Her findings have found applications and impacts for tackling climate-change issues for green buildings and recycled concrete. She is currently the Director of the Centre for Infrastructure Engineering, Associate Dean (Research and HDR), Associate Dean (International), and Discipline Leader (Construction Management) at the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment, Western Sydney University, Australia. She was nominated to the College of Expert, Australian Research Council, Australian Government in 2018-2021. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Construction Management and Senior Editor of Construction and Building Materials. She has published over 330 referred journal articles. She has been awarded fifty-three research grants (totaling over $5 million). Her work has been recognized by peers nationally and internationally, which has been exemplified by seven Australian Research Council projects and over 24,000 citations with an h-index of 81. Vivian is also named of the 100,000 Top-Scientists (Top 2% of Scientists) in the World since 2017. Professor Young-Jin Cha received his Ph.D. (2008) from Texas A&M University in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, M.S. (2004) from Yonsei University, and B. E. (2002) from Kumoh National Institute of Technology. He started as a post-doctoral fellow (2009) at the City College of New York, and then he became a post-doctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (2012). He then joined the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba in 2014. His extensive research activities in structural health monitoring (SHM) and structural control for seismic damage reduction have led to the publication of 41 peer-reviewed, high-impact papers (average IF: 5.347) in top journals including one editorial, including Computer-Aided Civil Infrastructure Engineering (CACIE) (impact factor (IF): 11.775, top rank 1 in Civil Engineering), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics (IF: 8.236), Automation in Construction (IF: 7.7, top rank 2 in Civil Engineering), and Structural Health Monitoring (IF: 5.929). He has accepted/published 39 peer-reviewed, internationally recognized conference papers and delivered 73 conference presentations including three plenary speeches, twelve invited keynote speeches, and one welcome speech. He also authored a book chapter that was published in the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems (UNESCO). His key scientific contribution is deep learning-based automated SHM with autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He brought this topic to light with paper publications in top-ranking journals. He is serving as an Associate Editor in Engineering Report, Wiley and International Conference on Pattern Recognition, Editorial Board Members, and core peer-reviewers and in many top engineering journals associated with ASCE, Elsevier, IEEE, and Wiley. He is also serving and was severed as Co-Chairs and Technical/Organizing Committee member in many internal conferences in his research discipline such as AI and SHM.

Jai Hong Lee, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering, at South Carolina State University, grew up in Korea and received his bachelor's degree from Sungkyunkwan University in 2000. He has received various awards, with the most representative being the 2019 Professor of the Year in Engineering, and 2020 Scholarly Publications Award at the Division of Academic Affairs, 2020 Outstanding Junior Professor Award.

Yan Zhuge is a Professor in Structural Engineering at UniSA STEM. Yan has lectured in several Australian universities for more than 20 years. She has a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Structural Engineering from Beijing, China, a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Her main research interests include green concrete materials, fiber composite structures, and seismic retrofitting of masonry structures. She has published more than 160 SCI technical papers and has been invited as a keynote speaker at several international conferences. Yan has successfully supervised many Ph.D. graduates. She has won several Australian and Queensland government awards and fellowships and attracted funding from the Australian Research Council and industry. She was the winner of the 2018 South Australia Winnovation award in the Engineering category. She is the current College of Experts of the Australian Research Council (ARC).

Dr. Shivakumar is the Director of the Center for Composite Materials Research at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He received his B.E. from the University College of Engineering, and M.E. and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. After his Ph.D. he moved to NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, Virginia as a National Research Council Resident Research Associate. He continued to work there for 12 years in various capacities including a Research Associate Professor from Old Dominion University and Senior Scientist from Analytical Services and Materials Inc. After that, he moved to North Carolina A&T State University as a professor of mechanical engineering. During his tenure at A&T, he built a strong polymer Composite Program including a processing & fabrication lab, test lab, and modeling of composite structures. He enhanced the capabilities of the composite center by adding new equipment, in-house-built one-of-kind equipment, test methods, and test equipment. Trained and inspired staff members and students to perform cutting-edge research. He attracted research funding from NASA, ONR, ARMY, AFRL, NSF, FAA, and industries like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Atlantic Research Corporation, GE-Aircraft Engines, and 3TEX Inc. to a tune of $15 million to build a strong polymer composite research program. Dr. Shivakumar has graduated with more than 20 Ph.D. and many MS students and all are well placed in aerospace-related industries and in government research laboratories. Dr. Shivakumar is always proud of his students. He has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles with his students and colleagues in journals and conferences and made an equal number of presentations. He serves as an external reviewer for many Ph.D. theses and promotions, including Indian institutions. Dr. Shivakumar works in a number of technical committees and societies, specifically in advanced composite materials and structures research and education. Dr. Shivakumar was an Associate Editor of the AIAA Journal and a reviewer for many other journals and conferences. Dr. Shivakumar is an Associate Fellow of AIAA and a member of ASME and ASC. Prof. Hong-Nan Li is the Chair Professor of the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology (DUT), China. He is a member of the EU Academy of Sciences and a fellow of ASCE. He got the Ph. D., M. S. and B. S. in 1990, 1987, and 1982, respectively. He is a Cheung Kong Scholars Program engaged professor, serves as Vice Chairman of China Panel, International Association for Structural Control and Monitoring; and Vice Chairman of Advanced Materials and Structures, ASCE Aerospace Division; Chairman of Panel of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Also, he is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal, Structural Health Monitoring and Maintenance, Associate Editor of ASCE Journal of Aerospace Engineering, and Editorial Board member of Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, Sensors, and so on. His research interests are in Structural control and monitoring, disaster prevention and reduction, and Earthquake engineering. Dr. Wai Yuen Szeto is a Professor and an Associate Head at the Department of Civil Engineering at The University of Hong Kong, and the Deputy Director of the Institute of Transport Studies at that university. He is a Top 1 % Scholar from 2015-2020 (according to Clarivate Analytics' Essential Science Indicators). His current h-index is 56 (Google scholar). He is an author of over 150 refereed journal papers, with two papers in Operations Research and 33 papers in Transportation Research Part B. His publications have been cited over 7795 times (Google scholar). The publications are related to shared mobility, dynamic traffic assignment, transport network design, public transport, network reliability, game-theoretic approaches to transport and logistic problems, modeling land use, transport, and environment interaction, and sustainable transport. Brian Uy is Professor of Structural Engineering and Head of the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Sydney. He is Chairman of the Standards Australia Committees BD32 on Composite Structures for Buildings and BD-90-Part 6 on Steel and Composite Structures for Bridges. He is Vice President (Australasia and South East Asia) of the Institution of Structural Engineers and Chairman of the Australian Group of the International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering. Dr. Hossein Hosseinkhani, Chemical Engineer, has 30 years of experience in biomedical engineering in both academia and industry in biomedical engineering research and development, which includes several years of basic science research experience in a number of premier institutions related to the structure and function of biomaterials, and in polymer-based medical implants development in the medical device industry. He is the inventor of 22 International patents, several of which are licensed to companies acting in the biomedical fields and translated to 7 commercial products. Fawang Liu is a Professor in Applied and computational mathematics at Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He received his Ph.D. from Trinity College, Ireland in 1991. Since graduation, he has worked at Fuzhou University, Trinity College Dublin, University CollegeDublin, Xiamen University, University of Queensland, and the Queensland University of Technology. Professor Liuis an internationally recognized expert and a leading researcher in the field of numerical methods and theoretical analysis for fractional dynamical systems. He has published over 340 papers in these fields. Professor Liu won the prestigious Mittag-Leffler Award for his outstanding contributions to the field of fractional dynamical systems in 2012. Dr. Bishwajit Bhattacharjee is an emeritus professor at the department of civil engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi-India. After obtaining B. Tech (Hons.) degree from I.I.T. Kharagpur in 1978 he worked for M/s Gammon India Limited for a short period of two years. Subsequently, he obtained M. Tech. and a Ph.D. degrees from I.I.T. Delhi in the years 1982 and 1990 respectively. His areas of active research interest includes corrosion of rebar in concrete, high-performance concrete, microstructure modeling of concrete, chloride ingress, service life prediction, and life cycle costing of concrete structures besides condition evaluation and health monitoring of structures. Minor areas of research and teaching interests are Building Physics and Building Engineering, Construction Technology, and Construction management.

Professor Sanchez-Silva's area of expertise is risk analysis and stochastic modeling to support the decision making-process in engineering under uncertain conditions. He works extensively on Probabilistic Risk Analysis (PRA) and approximate measures to estimate potential risks for infrastructure, network systems and industrial facilities. Furthermore, he has experience on estimating risk in complex problems under conditions where information is partial, incomplete and difficult to quantify. Finally, he has been involved in projects where the socioeconomic and environmental contexts play a significant role and, therefore, traditional risk modeling and engineering methods can only be applied partially. Some of his current areas of research include: development of infrastructure systems (structures and lifelines); stochastic modeling of deteriorating systems and structures; flexibility, adaptability and resilience of infrastructure; and decision-making for resource allocation and cost effectiveness of investments in the design and operation of various types of facilities.

Dr. Amer Ali is specialized in highway and transportation engineering and has been working in the UK academic sector for more than two decades including research and teaching. He has worked for a number of UK universities including UCL, ICL, Leeds MU, and LSBU. He has extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses and in the supervision of MSc and Ph.D. research projects in addition to managing and directing courses and developing new courses and new modules descriptors and guides. Dr. Ali is the Director of Studies and Lead Supervisor of seven Ph.D. students for research on railway and highway engineering. He also has several years of experience as a tutor for international students and as a tutor for placement and careers. Dr. Ali's research and publications span the areas of traffic and highway engineering, railway engineering, and sustainability in addition to professional development and the training and learning of graduate engineers at the workplace during their initial professional development (IPD) period. In addition to being a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he is a highly professionally qualified Chartered Engineer (CEng) who is a fellow of a number of major engineering institutions (FICE, FIHE, FCIHT, FPWI) and serves as an approved Mentor (SCE), Reviewer for Chartership and represents some engineering institutions in the Academic Standards Panel and the JBM Main Board.

Dr. Liu Yang is jointly appointed as an Assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management at the National University of Singapore. She received her B.S. from Tsinghua University, MPhil from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Previously, Dr. Liu worked as a consultant at Cambridge Systematics and provided modeling expertise to public agencies such as the Chicago Department of Transportation. She has worked on research projects funded by US and Singapore public agencies, including the US Federal Highway Administration, National Science Foundation, Singapore Ministry of Education, and ST Engineering. Dr. Liu's research focuses on future mobility and transport, which covers topics in the areas of ridesharing and carsharing systems operations and design, information provision and routing in connected transportation networks, and travel demand and congestion management. Her work has been published in the major journals in the transportation area, including Transportation Research Part A, B, C, and E. She served as a member on the editorial advisory board of Transportation Research Part B: Methodological and an Area Editor for the 2017 COTA International Conference for Transportation Professionals. Currently, she serves as a member on the editorial advisory board of Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies, Cleaner Logistics, and Supply Chain, and Journal of Transportation Systems Engineering and Information Technology. Khaled Shaaban is an associate professor of transportation engineering in the Department of Engineering at Utah Valley University. He received his doctorate in civil engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a registered professional engineer in multiple states and a professional traffic operations engineer. He has over twenty years of experience in the transportation engineering industry. He has been a principal investigator or co-principal investigator for many research projects. The outcomes of these projects include numerous published papers and presentations on a variety of transportation engineering topics.

Dr.Mohamed is a lecturer at the School of Engineering and the Built Environment at Edinburgh Napier University. He joined Edinburgh Napier University as a Ph.D. student in 2010 and became a zero-hour lecturer in January 2014, teaching math and civil engineering subject areas from undergraduate to MSc Levels. He was promoted to a fix-term lecturer and senior research fellow in 2019, working on bio-based composite materials in construction funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering. Dr. Mohamed got a permeant lecturer position in 2021. Before joining Edinburgh Napier University, he worked as a teaching assistant and a lecturer in Civil Engineering Department at Omar Al-Mukhtar University in Libya. He completed his B.Eng. in Civil Engineering in Libya and was awarded the degree of MSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Atilim University, Turkey. Since 2019, Ahmed has led or co-investigated several research projects funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Scottish Founding Council, and the Energy Technology Partnership. His research outcomes have been published in several prestigious research journals in civil engineering subject areas. He is the first author or corresponding author for most of these publications. Ahmed's research focuses on the area of timber engineering, bio-based composite materials in construction, and non-destructive test technology in civil engineering. He is teaching the finite element module at the MSc level and he has a strong background in using the finite element software for modeling complex structures.

For the past six years, Dr. Shahria Alam has been extensively involved in research related to smart materials and their structural applications, seismic rehabilitation of deteriorated structures, and performance-based design of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and masonry structures. He is a winner of many awards and scholarships, and his research contribution has been recognized by various professional bodies and institutions. Prior to joining at UBC-Okanagan, Dr. Alam worked on several industrial projects while working as a structural engineer for Halcrow Yolles (Toronto) and JNE Consulting Ltd. (Hamilton, ON). Few notable projects are Canadian Museum for Human Rights, City Center Las Vegas, Burlington Performing Art Centre, Burlington, ON, and several steel structures for US Steel Canada and Praxair Canada Inc. Currently Dr. Alam is involved in several industrial projects in BC.

Prof. Shu is a 'Hundred Talent' Professor at Zhejiang University. He obtains Ph.D. from the Chalmers University of Technology in Structural Engineering. Before, joint Zhejiang University, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at University of Southern Denmark and Visiting Professor at Stanford University. His research focus on intelligent inspection, monitoring and assessment of existing structures, especially with artificial intelligence and digital twin. He has made outstanding achievements in scientific research, with more than 40 high-quality refereed journal articles. He earns him international visibility as a peer reviewer and a member of the editorial boards of scientific journals. He is involved in several national and international scientific societies (including ACI/ASCE/fib) and he has given significant contributions to many technical committees, which brought him to establish fruitful collaborations with renowned international institutes.

Wensu Chen is an ARC (Australian Research Council) Future Fellow Associate Professor in Structural Engineering, and Director of the Centre for Infrastructural Monitoring and Protection (CIMP) at Curtin University, Australia. His research interests are primarily in structural engineering and protective structures, primarily focussing on the development of novel protective materials and structures, structural protection against multi-hazards, and prefabricated and modular structures. He has published over 150 SCI-indexed international journal articles and won four ARC research grants as lead or sole CI. He is on the World's Top 2% Scientists List at Stanford University. Pijush Samui is working as an associate professor in the civil engineering department at NIT Patna, India. He graduated in 2000, with a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India. He received his M.Sc. in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India (2004). He holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering (2008) from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pittsburgh (USA) (2008-2009) and Tampere University of Technology (Finland) (2009- 2010). At the University of Pittsburgh, he worked on the design of an efficient tool for rock cutting and the application of Support Vector Machine (SVM) in designing geostructure. At the Tampere University of Technology, he worked on the design of railway embankment, slope reliability, and site characterization. In 2010, Dr. Pijush joined the Center for Disaster Mitigation and Management at VIT University as an Associate Professor. He was promoted to a Professor in 2012. Dr. Pijush's research focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence for designing civil engineering structures, the design of foundation, stability of railway embankment, reliability analysis, site characterization, and earthquake engineering. Dr. Pijush is the recipient of the prestigious CIMO fellowship (2009) from Finland, for his integrated research on the design of railway embankment. He was awarded Shamsher Prakash Research Award (2011) by IIT Roorkee for his innovative research on the application of Artificial Intelligence in designing civil engineering structures. He was selected as the recipient of the IGS Sardar Resham Singh Memorial Award – 2013 for his innovative research on infrastructure projects. He was elected Fellow of the International Congress of Disaster Management in 2010. He served as a guest in the disaster advance journal. Dr. Pijush is active in a variety of professional organizations including the Indian Geotechnical Society, Indian Science Congress, Institution of Engineers, World Federation of Soft Computing, and Geotechnical Engineering for Disaster Mitigation and Rehabilitation. He has organized numerous workshops and conferences on the applications of artificial intelligence in civil engineering design. He also serves as an editorial board member and associate editor in several international journals. He has been selected as an adjunct professor at Ton Duc Thang University (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam). He has been Visiting Professor at Far East Federal University (Russia). Dr. Gang Zhang is a University Distinguished Professor at Chang'an University (CHD) and an International Famous Scientist in the field of bridge fire safety. He serves as Director of the Research Center on Bridge Extreme Loading and Protection and Head of the Bridge Structure and Material Fire Laboratory at Chang'an University. Prof. Zhang's expertise is in the evaluation and protection of bridge structures and material behavior under extreme fire conditions. His research has focused on the experimental behavior, analytical modeling and numerical prediction of bridge structures under extreme fire exposure conditions, constitutive modeling of material properties at high temperatures, fire-resistant design of bridge structures, and the bridge collapsed investigations. He has developed a fundamental understanding of the behavior of bridge structures and materials subjected to extreme fire hazards. His research accomplishments, in the field of bridge fire safety and material at elevated temperatures, have a great contribution and major impacts to improve the development of disaster prevention and mitigation in transport infrastructure. Prof. Zhang, along with his students and collaborators, has led to over 150 peer-reviewed papers in journals and conferences. The most recent contribution from Zhang is a new textbook on "Fire Theory and Calculation Method of Bridge Structure" published by China Communications Press. Prof. Zhang He has been "elected" as a "Fellow" of two academies/associations.

Maria Girardi, Ph.D., PE is a researcher of the National Research Council of Italy (Institute of Information Science and Technologies "A. Faedo"). Her interests focus on structural and continuum mechanics, and structural health monitoring; she develops models and software with primary applications in preserving monuments and historical buildings. Since 2014 she has been carrying out vibration monitoring on medieval towers and bridges in the Central Italy territory, in partnership with the Italian Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. Recent research topics include nonlinear dynamics and earthquake engineering, finite-element modelling, optimization problems for model updating, data analysis, and damage detection, sensor networks for structural health monitoring.

Dr. Montserrat Zamorano Toro: Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering (Area of Environmental Technology) at the University of Granada in Spain. Her research focus is waste management and Environmental Impact Assessment. She has more than twenty publications in international journals and conference proceedings. Currently she is working with the ARAI research group at the University of Granada and is directing the research project, Using Biomass from Agricultural Waste in Andalusia to Produce Pellets for Domestic Thermal Application, funded by the Andalusian Regional Government.

Ralph Buehler, Ph.D. is Professor and Chair of Urban Affairs and Planning in the School of Public and International Affairs at Virginia Tech's Research Center in Arlington, VA. Most of his research has an international comparative perspective, contrasting transport and land-use policies, transport systems, and travel behavior in Western Europe and North America. Ralph is the author or co-author of over 80 articles in refereed academic journals, chapters in edited books, reports to federal and local governments, NGOs, and for-profit industry organizations, as well as co-editor of the books City Cycling and Cycling for Sustainable Cities (both MIT Press). Between 2012 and 2018, he served as chair of the Committee for Bicycle Transportation of the Transportation Research Board (TRB). His research interests include: (1) the influence of transport policy, land use, and socio-demographics on travel behavior; (2) active travel and public health; and (3) public transport demand, supply, regional coordination, and financial efficiency.

Pedro Raposeiro da Silva is an Assistant Professor (Professor Adjunto) of construction materials and construction technology at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, IPL- Lisbon Polytechnic Institute and a researcher member of CERIS- Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability (research group of studies on construction) from Instituto Superior Tecnico, UL- University of Lisbon. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and his Master in Construction from Instituto Superior Tecnico, UL- University of Lisbon and has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, IPL- Lisbon Polytechnic Institute. His research interests include self-compacting concrete, concrete microstructure and durability, sustainable construction (recycled aggregates in concrete and mortars), and construction technology. Cristina Calheiros is Environmental Engineer with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology. Currently is a Researcher at CIIMAR - Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research of the University of Porto, Portugal, and Coordinator of the Centre for Monitoring and Environmental Interpretation (CMIA), Vila do Conde, Portugal. She is an Invited Professor at the Institute of Science and Environment, University of Saint Joseph, SAR Macao, China, and at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, Portugal. She is Vice-president of The Portuguese National Association of Green Roof (ANCV)(https://www.greenroofs.pt/en). Integrates the international network of COST Action - Implementing nature-based solutions for creating a resourceful circular city (https://circular-city.eu). Her work focuses on the development of nature-based solutions(e.g., green roofs and walls, constructed and floating wetlands) towards sustainability of territories and as tools for climate change adaptation and mitigation, water management, and treatment solutions, phytoremediation and environmental education.

Dr. J.D. Yau got his Ph.D. from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 1996. After serving as a chair engineer at the Kuan-Tech Eng Consult Co. (1997-1999), he joined the faculty at Tamkang University (TKU, 1999) where he served as Assistant Professor (1999-2003), Associate Professor (2003-09), Professor (2010) and Chair (2004-2007) in the Department of Architecture and Building Technology. He is also a Supervisor of the Chinese Taiwan Association of Wind Engineering (CTAWE, 2014). Dr. Yau is one of the selective World's Top 2% Scientists (Career Impact) (1960-2022) published by Mendeley Data owned by Elsevier in Oct. 2022 and he has published over 60 referred journal papers and articles on moving load problems. His major research area is centered on vibrations of high-speed rails, indirect frequency measurements of bridges, and maglev dynamics.

Dr. Conti is an Associate Professor in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Rome Niccolo Cusano, since 2015. He joined Cusano in 2013 as Lecturer, after three years Post-Doc at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste (Italy). He received his Ph.D. in Geotechnical and Structural Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy), in 2010. During his Ph.D., he spent nine months as a Visiting Research Student at the Schofield Centre of the University of Cambridge (UK). His main research interests are (i) theoretical, numerical, and experimental modeling of static and dynamic soil-structure interaction problems; (ii) constitutive modeling of geomaterials; (iii) performance-based design of geotechnical structures under seismic actions; (iv) modeling and interpretation of liquefaction phenomena. He is the author and co-author of more than 60 papers in journals and conference proceedings. He participated in (and is currently involved in) several Regional, National, and International Research Projects, as a Researcher, Coordinator of the local research unit, or Principal Investigator.

Valeria Licata received her Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at University Federico II of Naples (Italy) and BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering at the same university. After the Ph.D., she spent her time for some years as PostDoc studying seismic microzonation and soil liquefaction, respectively, in the Metropolis and ReLuis research projects. Currently, she is working for an Italian government institution - National Autonomous Roads Corporation (ANAS S.p.A) - Ferrovie Dello Stato Holding - and, as Geotechnical engineer, is the coordinator and responsible for the Geotechnical projects involved with the design of road infrastructures. She was also commissioned as a specialist for testing the new viaduct in the Polcevera valley, Genoa (Italy). Valeria is the secretary and a member of PIARC Italy (World Road Organization) which is dealing with the resilience of geotechnical systems. The research activity is still carrying on by collaborating with different universities whose topics are ranging over the development of a new non-linear approach to perform 1D seismic response analyses, the assessment of the seismic performance of footing systems (piles vs caisson foundations), and the study of the fragility of pier foundation systems as a tool to manage the seismic risk. This latter topic is the object of a Research Agreement between ANAS S.p.A. and the University Federico II (Naples, Italy) where Valeria is the co-coordinator.

Jung Min Han is an architect, building scientist, and software developer seeking strategies for architectural sustainability and energy-efficient building design. She navigates interoperable building simulation software for architects to use in creating flexibilities between building performance analysis and early design decision-making. Her doctoral research, advised by Prof. Ali Malkawi, focused on tool development for environmental analysis and building performance simulation. She takes statistical inference as her primary methodology for advancing the feasibility of software with manifold sets of building data. Jung Min holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Korea National University of Arts, a Master of Science in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and a Master in Design Studies with a concentration in Energy and Environments from Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD). Before starting the DDes program, she worked at the Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities (at GSD) and the Intelligent Workplace Lab (at CMU) as a research assistant. As a student and researcher, she developed several building simulation tools to help architects with sustainable design decision-making on topics ranging from the building to urban scales of implementation. Along with her academic engagement, her journal and conference papers on building performance and simulations have been published and presented at conferences sponsored by the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) and The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). She also won the student competition at the IBPSA conference in San Francisco in 2017.

Dr. Bruno Briseghella is a distinguished professor and Dean of the College of Civil Engineering, Fuzhou University (Fuzhou, China). His main research activities have been focused on the bridge and structural design, earthquake engineering, including seismic isolation and retrofitting, both from the theoretical and experimental point of view. He has published more than 200 scientific papers in National and International Journals and Conferences and has served as PI or CO-PI of several research programs granted by important Institutions. Dr. Briseghella has widely worked for the seismic retrofitting of Buildings and Bridges after the Earthquake in L'Aquila (2009, Italy) and Modena (2013, Italy).

Khadija Aanaba is a Moroccan Ph.D. student from the National School of Mines, Rabat Morocco. She is working on the energetic efficiency of buildings, ecological concrete, and electrochemical characterization. She had her first paper got published in the construction and building materials journal.

Dr. Jara is a Titular Professor at the Civil Engineering School at the University of Michoacan in Mexico. His main research activity includes seismic hazard assessment, seismic vulnerability assessment, cost-benefit studies, use of passive control systems in structures, and seismic behavior of bridges. Jakub Zembrzuski is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Mechanics of Materials and Structures of the Gdansk University of Technology. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Gdansk University of Technology. He obtained a Master of Science degree. Since the beginning of the research work; his main interests are bridge engineering, diagnostics, and NDT and FEM simulations.

Dr. Chengyu Hong is an Associate Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University. He received a doctorate degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2011. Currently, he is the Director of Geotechnical and Underground Engineering Laboratory, Deputy Director of Intelligent Infrastructure Research Center, and Deputy Director of Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Green, Efficient and Intelligent Construction of Underground Metro Station. Dr.Manoj Khandelwal is the Program Coordinator of mining engineering at Federation University and is an Australian Endeavour Fellow. Dr. Khandelwal has completed his bachelor's degree in mining engineering from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, India, master's in rock mechanics from Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, and Ph.D. in rock engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Dr. Biao HU is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University, P.R. China. He obtained his Ph.D. from the City University of Hong Kong in 2017. His main research focuses on composite materials & structures, structural retrofitting, and sustainable construction materials. He has published some 40 technical papers in international journals and conference proceedings (including 30 SCI papers), and these works received more than 500 citations recorded in Google Scholar. M.k.Saeed, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Civil Engineering department, Qassim University, Unaizah, Saudi Arabia. He obtained his Ph.D. from King Fahd University of petroleum and minerals (KFUPM) in 2014. His main research interests include strengthening the concrete structures with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer, Thermal stresses and cracking indices of mass concrete structures at an early age, and finite element simulation.

Dr. Lichen Wang is an associate professor in the School of Civil Engineering at Tianjin University (TJU) in China. He obtained his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering in 2017 from Tianjin University and did research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Tokyo. His research interests include CFRP-cable roof structure and computer-vision-assisted structural damage detection. He has published over 15 papers in top journals and conferences and applied for over 10 national patents. He has taken one program from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participated in several projects in China and Japan.

Xiyin Zhang received a Ph.D. degree from Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Science. He works as an associate professor at the School of Civil Engineering, Lanzhou Jiaotong University. His research interests include Bridge engineering and Frozen soil engineering, especially for earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation of infrastructures under extreme environmental conditions in cold regions. He presided over 7 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Science and TechnologyPlanning Project of GansuProvince, etc. Based on these projects, he published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and obtained over 10 Chinese authorized patents. Prof. Dr.Nazri Ali is a Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is currently the Dean of the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE) at UTM. He obtained his B.Eng in Civil Engineering (1998) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and M.Sc in Civil-Geotechnic (2002) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He completed his Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Cardiff University, the United Kingdom in 2007. His field of expertise is Numerical Geotechnical Engineering. He has been actively secured various research grants and projects throughout his career with the faculty. He also produced numerous publications including book chapters, indexed and non-indexed journals, proceedings, and was selected as a reviewer for a few prestige journals. He is also a member of several national organizations and professional bodies.

Akshay's research focuses on studying human behavior when humans physically interact with automation, and on designing automation systems that can safely and efficiently collaborate with humans. His research interests include physical human-machine interaction, modeling and control of robotic systems, and human-centered automation design. Akshay received his MS and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2018 and 2021 respectively. His Ph.D. research focused on the development of steering assistance and augmentation systems for semi-autonomous vehicles.

Alp Caner Ph.D., PE, is a structural engineer with experience in the analysis, design, construction supervision, inspection, assessment, and retrofit of transportation structures for more than 25 years. He has been teaching and researching mainly bridge structures at the Middle East Technical University. He is the current president of the IABSE Foundation. He is also the owner of the design, consulting, and software company BridgeWiz. His main research areas are jointless bridges, bridge bearings, and the use of AI in bridge inspection.

Assoc. Prof. Zhong-Kui Cai achieved his doctoral degree from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2018. He is the head of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Tech University. He has been the project technical consultant of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co. Ltd, the committee manager of the Composite Society of Jiangsu Province, and the committee member of the Dynamic Mechanics and Control Society of Jiangsu Province. His research concentrates on improving structural resilience through innovative structures and advanced analytical methods. Dr. Cai has published almost 30 papers as the first or corresponding author in many high-ranked international journals, including the Journal of Composites for Construction-ASCE, Engineering Structures, and Composite Structures. He leads and participates in 4 research projects granted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and finished 2government entrusted research projects from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China. Yong Huang is a full professor of the Division of Intelligent Civil Infrastructure at the Harbin Institute of Technology, China, and is a National Young Talent. He has a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from the Harbin Institute of Technology. He also was a Postdoctoral Scholar department of Computing&Mathematical Sciences and the Department of Mechanical & Civil Engineering at the California Institute of Technology during the periods February 2012 until February 2013 and December 2014 until February 2017, respectively. Yong Huang has over 80 technical publications, covering topics in structural health Monitoring of Bridge and High-speed rail track structures, structural system identification, Bayesian compressive sensing, guided-wave testing, and machine learning. In many of hisresearches, he uses a Bayesian machine learning treatment for complex engineering inverse problems. He served as an editor of the sensors journal and is an Associate Editor in Structural Sensing, Control, and Asset Management (specialty section of Frontiers in Built Environment). Hijaz Ahmad is a researcher in the field of Applied Mathematics at International Telematic University Uninettuno, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, Roma, Italy. He is Head of the Mathematics in Applied Sciences and Engineering Research Group, Scientific Research Center, Al-Ayen University, Nasiriyah, Iraq, and Associate Member of the Section of Mathematics, International Telematic University Uninettuno, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, Roma, Italy. The scope of his research is quite broad, covering Numerical Analysis, Fractional Calculus, Mathematical Inequalities, Quantum Calculus, and Mathematical Analysis. He has published over 300 research articles in international journals and a total number of citations of over 3300 (Google Scholar H-Index = 30). He has collaborated with over 50 international countries and more than 700 researchers. He has served as a reviewer for more than 100 international journals and an editor for at least 30 journals.

Xiao Wei Zheng received his Ph.D. degree from the Dalian University of Technology and worked as a visiting scholar at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2019 to 2020-year. He works as a lecturer at the School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology. His research interests include resilience assessment of structure engineering subjected to multiple hazards, especially for tall buildings (or regional groups) and bridges (or bridge network) against multi-hazard of earthquakes and winds. He presided over 5 projects from the Provincial and National Foundations, including one project from the National Natural Science Foundation and one sub-project of theNational Key Research & Development Program. Dr. Sattar is currently working as a Scientific Expert at the The University of Zurich after completing his Swiss Government Federal Postdoctoral Fellowship. He was a former NASA-funded postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences, University of Dayton, USA. He has contributed immensely in the field of remote sensing-based glacier modeling, and complex modeling of glacial lake outburst floods and other mountain hazards. He is involved in multi-disciplinary and cross-sectoral research around the globe including the Himalayas, the Andes, Iceland, and Central Asia, both at a local scale and in regional-scale assessments. He is focused on studying the dynamics of glaciers in the context of climate change and understanding processes in high mountain Asia by integrating in-situ measurements, remote sensing, GIS, and numerical modeling on varied spatial and temporal scales. Further, he is working to understand various mass movement processes in high mountain geosystems focusing on recent dynamics. Especially in the seismically active continental mountain areas, such as the Himalayas where landslides and rock falls are common. Liming Qu, Ph.D., is a researcher at Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He obtained his Ph.D., degree at Chongqing University, China, and once studied as a visiting scholar at Purdue University (USA). His interests focus on soil-structure interaction, especially on the dynamic interaction between soil and piles. He develops models based on continuum mechanics in calculating the dynamic impedance of single piles and groups of piles in mountain areas. The wave propagation and pile-to-pile interaction processing sloping ground are studied by combining field tests, model tests numerical simulations and theory deduction. Not limited to the effects of irregular soil domain boundary, the cross-section effects of square shape, and X-shape on the dynamic responses of piles are also investigated.

Mosab Hamdan (Senior Member, IEEE) received a B.Sc. degree in Computer and Electronic System Engineering from the University of Science and Technology (UST), Sudan, in 2010, the M.Sc. degree in Computer Architecture and Networking from the University of Khartoum (UofK), Sudan, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (Computer Networks) from the Faculty of Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, in 2021. From 2010 to 2015, he was a teaching assistant and lecturer with the Department of Computer and Electronics System Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Science and Technology (UST). From July 2021 to January 2022, he was a Researcher with the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia under the Post-Doctoral Fellowship Scheme. He is currently working as a Researcher under the post-doctoral research fellow Scheme. His current research interests are computer networks, Network security, software-defined networking (SDN), Internet-of-things (IoT), Smart Cities, and future networks.
