Paulo C. DE MORAIS, Ph.D., was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasilia (UCB) Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010, 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB. Professor Morais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered more than 150 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of Nano sized materials (magnetic fluid, magneto liposome, magnetic Nano emulsion, magnetic Nano capsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, Nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With nearly 500 published papers in peer-reviewed journals and 15 patents, he has appeared in recent World ranking of top 1% scientists, such as 2020-Stanford and 2022-Research.com

Thomas J. Webster (H index: 113; Google Scholar) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has served as a professor at Purdue (2000-2005), Brown (2005-2012), and Northeastern (2012-2021; serving as Chemical Engineering Department Chair from 2012 - 2019) Universities and has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Hebei University of Technology, Saveetha University, Vellore Institute of Technology, UFPI, and more. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies.

Suk-Ho Choi is a professor in Department of Applied Physics at Kyung Hee University. He received BS degree from Seoul National Univ. and MS/PhD degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He spent sabbatical years at National Institute of Standards and Technology in USA, Australian National University, and Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology. He worked as a director at Institute of Natural Sciences at Kyung Hee University for 10 years, and was appointed as Fellow Professor from 2009. Prof. Choi has been involved in areas of fabrication and characterization of semiconductors over the last 4 decades. During this time, he has designed, developed, and constructed various chemical vapor deposition (CVD) systems including graphene/2D materials CVD, and PL/EL, I-V, C-V, dark- and photo-conductivity systems. In recent years, Prof. Choi has established two major areas of research, one on the optical and electrical properties of low-dimensional materials such as quantum dots/nanowires/graphene/2D materials and their heterostructures, and the other on fabrication/characterization of the low-dimensional-materials-based electronic and optical devices including LEDs, solar cells, piezoelectric cells, photodetectors, non-volatile memories, and sensors. He has published over 235 papers in the relevant research area.

Ute Kaiser received her Diploma and her PhD in Crystallography from the Humboldt University Berlin, her Habilitation in Experimental Physics from the Friedrich-Schiller University, Jena, Germany, in 2002. Since 2004 she is full professor at Ulm University in the Physics Department and Head of Ulm's Materials Science Electron Microscopy. She is the Scientific Director of the SALVE (Sub Angstroem Low-Voltage Electron Microscopy) project. By means of this unique low-voltage spherical and chromatic aberration-corrected TEM instrument, she dedicates most of her work to unravel and functionalize the crystallographic and electronic properties of low-dimensional materials. Ute Kaiser has more than 400 peer-reviewed articles, and holds several honorary adjunct positions. She is currently the Physical-Sciences Editor for the Journal Micron.

Dr. Hideyuki Kanematsu is a Fellow of the American Society for Materials Science (FASM), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials and Surface Finishing (FIMF), and a researcher in materials and surface science and engineering, receiving his Bachelor of Engineering in 1981, Master of Engineering in 1983, and Doctor of Engineering in 1989 from Nagoya University. After working as an assistant professor at Nagoya University and Osaka University, he joined Suzuka National College of Technology in 1992. After serving as an assistant professor, lecturer, and associate professor, he became a Department of Materials Engineering professor at Suzuka National College of Technology in 2007. He served as the dean of the Department of Materials Engineering (2010-2014) and assistant principal (2014-2018) at Suzuka National College of Technology. He is currently the leader of the Materials Unit of GEAR5.0, an industry-academia collaboration project of the National Institute of Technology, and also a visiting professor at the Institute of Innovation for Future Society, Nagoya University, a research fellow at INTI International University in Malaysia, and an adjunct researcher at D&D Inc. His current research focuses on material interface phenomena and industrial countermeasures against biofilm, which is formed by the action of microorganisms on the material surface, the interface between the material and the environment. He is also actively studying how to evaluate the anti-infective potential of materials against bacteria and viruses, develop materials with high anti-infective potential, and countermeasure such potential by surface treatment and modification of materials. Changzhi Gu is a professor in condensed matter physics at the Institute of Physics (IOP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Prof. Changzhi Gu received a Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics from Jilin University of China in 1997. Since 2001, he has been a professor in condensed matter physics at IOP, CAS. His research focused on the synthesis and properties of wide-band gap thin films, artificial structures, and devices on sub-micro and nanometer scales. In this field, he published about 500 papers in international famous Journals, such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communication, PRL, JACS, Nano Lett., Advanced Materials, etc., and these papers were cited more than 10000. In 2007, he was awarded the "Hugangfu Prize" by the Chinese Physical Society. In 2018, he was awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering's Distinguished Visiting Fellowship.

Prof. Martin Kalbac graduated in inorganic chemistry from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, (1998), where he also received his Ph.D. degree in 2002. Since 2001 he has worked at the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Currently, he is a vice-director of the institute and the head of the Department of Low dimensional Systems. His research interests include carbon nanotubes, Graphene, Raman spectroscopy and spectroelectrochemistry, isotope engineering of carbon nanostructures and sensorics.

Andres Cantarero, Full Prof. Cond. Matter Phys. During his career, he has been working in Raman and other spectroscopic techniques, high-pressure physics, or magneto-optics. He was mainly interested in semiconductor nanostructures: quantum wells, quantum dots, and quantum wires of III-V semiconductors. One of his topics of interest throughout all these years was the study of layered semiconductors, both from the experimental and theoretical point of view.

Dr. Ilona Mullerova is a Vice president of the Czech Academy of Sciences. She graduated at the Technical University Brno, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (M.Eng.) and obtained her degrees (Ph.D. and DrSc) at the Czech Technical University Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The whole life she works at the Institute of Scientific Instruments, CAS, v.v.i.Brno, where she was director from 2012 to 2022. Her research interest is mainly the instrumentation of low-energy scanning electron microscopy, detection systems, contrast interpretation, and surface physics of low-energy electron interaction with matter.

Haider A. J. Al Lawati is a professor in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Sultan Qaboos University. His research interests are focused on microfluidics, analytical application of metal-organic framework, miniaturized analytical systems, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.

Masaki Ishizu works at the New Business Development Department, Kureha Corporation. He conducted research on liquid crystal polymer materials and optics and earned B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2014, 2016, and 2019, respectively. He has been employed by Kureha Corporation since 2019. His current research interests include carbon quantum dots, fluorescent materials, polymer materials chemistry, photocatalysts, and applications for the materials industry.

Dr. Tomohiro Matsui is a principal researcher at Advanced Research Laboratory, Anritsu corporation, since 2020. His current research topic is the development of graphene nanoscale devices. Recently, he is interested in the graphene enhanced Raman scattering, thermo-electric devices and gas/bio sensors of nano-structured graphene. Before moving to Anritsu, he had been worked as an assistant professor at Department of Physics, the University of Tokyo. He had also belonged to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST, USA) as a visiting researcher, University of Hamburg (Germany) and the Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP), the University of Tokyo as a post-doctoral researcher. His main interests at that time were the low dimensional quantum physics at ultra-low temperatures and the study with the scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy.

Deepak Dabur Pursuing doctoral research in Analytical Chemistry at National Sun Yat-Sen University under Prof. Hui Fen-Wu. Awarded MS in Applied Chemistry in 2018 from Amity University, India. Served as a research fellow under Dr. S. K. Maurya from 2019 to 20, at CSIR-IHBT India. Worked as an intern at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, India. Enthusiast in improvising the detection and identification of neurotransmitters, drugs in biological fluids, and toxic biochemical and environmental hazards.

Hideo Miura received his MS degree in electronic engineering and PhD in mechanical engineering from Tohoku University. After working at Hitachi Ltd. Japan for 20 years as a Chief Researcher of mechanical reliability design and quality control of various products, he moved to Tohoku University. He is now the director and professor of Fracture and Reliability Research Institute, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University. He has published more than 300 papers and has more than 250 registered patents all over the world. He received more than 20 best paper awards from ASME, JSME, IEEE, and so on.

Dr. Jianxiong Zhu is an Associate Professor from Southeast University, China. He received d Ph.D. from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2015. After that, he worked as an assistant professor at the Beijing institute of Nano energy and Nano system. He also worked as a postdoc at KAIST, Korea, and the National University of Singapore for several years. He has published over 50 peer review papers and the IF over 10 is 15. Dr. Wenbo Peng is now an Associate Professor at School of Microelectronics, Xi an Jiaotong University. He received his PhD degree in major of Electronic Science and Technology at 2016 and bachelor degree in major of Microelectronics at 2010, from Xi an Jiaotong University.
