Alexander G. Ramm was born in Russia, emigrated to the USA in 1979 and is a US citizen. He is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics with broad interests in analysis, scattering theory, inverse problems, theoretical physics, engineering, signal estimation, tomography, theoretical numerical analysis and applied mathematics. He is an author of 725 research papers, 23 research monographs and an editor of 3 books. He has lectured at many Universities throughout the world, gave more than 155 invited and plenary talks at various Conferences and had supervised 11 Ph.D students. He was Fulbright Research Professor in Israel and Ukraine; distinguished visiting professor in Mexico and Egypt; Mercator Professor in Germany; Research Professor in France; invited plenary speaker at the 7-th PACOM; he won Khwarizmi international award in 2004 and received other honors. A.G.Ramm was the first to prove uniqueness of the solution to inverse scattering problems with fixed-energy scattering data; the first to prove uniqueness of the solution to inverse scattering problems with non-over-determined scattering data and the first to study inverse scattering problems with under-determined scattering data. He studied inverse scattering problems for potential scattering and for scattering by obstacles. He solved many specific inverse problems and developed new methods and ideas in the area of inverse scattering problems. He introduced the notion of Property C for a pair of differential operators and applied Property C for one-dimensional and multi-dimensional inverse scattering problems. A. G. Ramm solved many-body wave scattering problem when the bodies are small particles of arbitrary shapes, assuming that a much less than d and d is much less that λ, where a is the characteristic size of the particles, d is the minimal distance between neighboring particles, and λ is the wavelength in the material in which the small particles are embedded. Multiple scattering is essential under these assumptions. He used this theory to give a theory for creating materials with a desired refraction coefficient and materials with a desired wave-focusing property. A. G. Ramm gave a recipe for creating materials with a desired refraction coefficient. These results attracted the attention of the scientists working in nanotechnology. A. G. Ramm gave formulas for the scattering amplitude for scalar and electromagnetic waves by small bodies of arbitrary shapes and analytical formulas for the polarizability tensors for these bodies. A. G. Ramm gave a solution to the Pompeiu problem, proved the Schiffer’s conjecture and gave many results about symmetry problems for PDE, including first symmetry results in harmonic analysis. A. G. Ramm has developed the Dynamical Systems Method (DSM) for solving linear and nonlinear operator equations, especially ill-posed. These results were used numerically and demonstrated practical efficiency of the DSM. A. G. Ramm developed random fields estimation theory for a wide class of random fields. A. G. Ramm has developed a theory of convolution equations with hyper-singular integrals and solved analytically integral equations with hyper-singular kernels. These results he applied to the study of the NSP (Navier-Stokes problem). As a result, he solved the millennium problem concerning the Navier-Stokes equations. A. G. Ramm formulated and proved the NSP paradox which shows the contradictory nature of the NSP and the non-existence of its solution on the interval t ∈ [0.∞) for the initial data v0(x) 6≡ 0 and f(x,t) = 0. A. G. Ramm has introduced a wide class of domains with non-compact boundaries. He studied the spectral properties of the Schr¨ odinger operators in this class of such domains and gave suffient conditions for the absence of eigenvalues on the continuous spectrum of these operators. A. G. Ramm developed the theory of local, pseudo local and geometrical tomography. He has proved a variety of the results concerning singularities of the Radon transform and developed multidimensional algorithms for finding discontinuities of signals from noisy discrete data.

Kenji Uchino, one of the pioneers in piezoelectric actuators, is Academy Professor of Emeritus Academy and Electrical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. He was Founding Director of International Center for Actuators and Transducers, Materials Research Institute and Distinguished Honors Faculty of Schreyer Honors College. He was the Founder and Senior Vice President & CTO of Micro-mechatronics Inc, State College, PA from 2004 till 2010. He was also Associate Director (Global Technology) at The US Office of Naval Research – Global Tokyo Office from 2010 till 2014. After his Ph. D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, he became Research Associate (1976) at this university. Then, he joined Sophia University, Japan as Associate Professor in 1985. He was recruited from The Penn State in 1991. Uchino is a Life Fellow of American Ceramic Society, IEEE and Int’l Assoc. Adv. Mater, A Senior Member of National Academy of Inventors and also is a recipient of 34 awards, including Japan Ceramics Grand Prix from Japanese Ceramics Society (2022),Wilhelm R. Buessem Award from the Center for Dielectrics and Piezoelectrics, The Penn State University (2019), Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE UFFC Society (2018), International Ceramic Award from Global Academy of Ceramics (2016), IEEE-UFFC Ferroelectrics Recognition Award (2013), Inventor Award from Center for Energy Harvesting Materials and Systems, Virginia Tech (2011), SPIE (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers), Smart Product Implementation Award (2007), R&D 100 Award (2007), ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Adaptive Structures Prize (2005), Best Movie Memorial Award at Japan Scientific Movie Festival (1989), and the Best Paper Award from Japanese Society of Oil/Air Pressure Control (1987). Uchino has authored 584 papers, 83 books and 33 patents in the ceramic actuator area. 67 papers/books among his publications have been cited more than 100 times, leading to his average h-index 82.

Dr. Leonidas Anthopoulos is a Professor in e-business at the University of Thessaly, Greece. During his current mission and at his previous job positions (as an Expert Counselor at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a Special Advisor of the Mayor of Trikala, Greece and as an ICT project manager at the Information Society S.A. (Greece)) he planned and supervised several critical projects, worth mentioning the smart city of Trikala.He is the Director of the “Intelligent Production Systems and Smart Cities” Research Institute and the Director of the Postgraduate Program in Agile Management at the University of Thessaly, Greece. He is a member of numerous committees, worth mentioning working for the ITU (Rapporteur of Q13 of the SG5), he is the head of the Smart and Sustainable cities’ working group for the Greek Standards, the Associate Editor of the IET Smart Citiesjournal etc. He is the author and editor of several book collections, which can be located inCities, Technological Forecasting and Social Change and Government Information Quarterly (ElSevier), ACM Computing Surveysmonograph for Springer etc. His research interests concern, among others, smart city, e-Government, Enterprise Architecture, Strategic Management, etc.

Dr. Farhad Rezazadeh received the Ph.D. degree (Excellent Cum Laude) in Signal Theory and Communications from Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain. He is currently a Researcher (Senior AI R&D engineer) at the Telecommunications Technological Center of Catalonia (CTTC), Barcelona, Spain. He participated in 8 European and National 5G/B5G/6G R&D projects with leading and technical tasks in the areas of Applied AI and XAI. His AI innovation in B5G/6G resource allocation was recognized as a great EU-funded Innovation by the European Commission's Innovation Radar. He was awarded the first patent connected to the H2020 5G-SOLUTIONS project. He was a seconded at NEC Lab Europe and had scientific missions at Technical University of Munich (TUM), Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), and Universitat de Girona (UdG). He is a Marie Sktodowska-Curie Ph.D. grantee and won 5 different IEEE/IEEE ComSoc grants, 2 European Cooperation in Science and Technology grants, and a Catalan Government Ph.D. Grant. He is an active member of IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE Spain - Technical Activities and Standards with more than 23 top-tier journals and conferences. He serves as Organizing, Chair, Reviewer, and TPC member in IEEE and Guest Editor in Elsevier.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Seda Sahin received the Ph.D. degree in Image Processing from Baskent University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, Ankara, Turkiye. While pursuing her doctorate, she continued as a research assistant in the Computer Engineering department of the same university. She is currently an instructor at Cankiri Karatekin University Computer Engineering Department, Cankiri, Turkiye and is also the founding head of this department and a member of the university senate. General study topics include Artificial Intelligence, Image and Signal Processing, Medical Image Processing, Medical Informatics, Expert Systems, Decision Support Systems, Management Information Systems, Renewable Energy Management and Optimization, Computer Networks, Bioenergy and Biotechnology, Smart Waste Management and Sustainable Development. She started working in the field of Artificial Intelligence as her master's thesis and currently continues her studies on different multidisciplinary topics of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing such as health, energy, telecommunications, cyber security and education. She still serves as a jury member and consultant for different Master's and Doctoral Theses in these fields. She works as the Field Editor of Gazi University Journal of Science Part C: Design and Technology. She is also a member of the Organizing Board for the ICAIME 2024 conference and a member of the Scientific Board for the ASYU 2024 conference.
