Prof. Lee received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the KAIST in 1986. He joined POSTECH (Pohang University of Science and Technology) as a faculty member on January of 1897. He is an international leader in bio-fluid flows, biomimicry and experimental fluid dynamics. He was elected as an APS (American Physics Society) fellow, for his contribution to experimental fluid mechanics, development of advanced flow visualization techniques and their applications to bio-fluid flows, micro/nano-fluidics and nature-inspired technologies. Prof. Lee achievement was recognized by the National Medal of Science (2017) and he was elected to be the POSTECH University Professor on 2017. He has served as the president of several academic societies and the chairman of various conferences and workshops. He is working as director of BBRC (Center for Biofluid and Biomimic Research), sponsored by National Research Foundation, Korea.

Dr. S.A. Sherif is a tenured Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and is the Founding Director of the Wayne K. and Lyla L. Masur HVAC Laboratory, the Director of the Industrial Assessment Center and the Director of the Mobile Energy Laboratory at the University of Florida. He served as Co-Director of the Southeastern Center for Industrial Energy Intensity Reduction at the University of Florida (2009-2013). He also served on the faculties of the University of Florida (1991-present), University of Miami (1987-1991), and Northern Illinois University (1984-1987). He is a Life Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); a Life Fellow of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society; a Fellow of the American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers (ASTFE); an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA); a Vice President of Commission B-2 on Refrigerating Equipment of the International Institute of Refrigeration; a Member of the Advisory Board of Directors of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy; and a Founding Member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers (ASTFE). He served as Editor-in-Chief of the ASME Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications (2014-2019), Editor-in-Chief of the ASME Journal of Solar Energy Engineering (2020-2025), and as Subject Editor of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (2005-2011). He has also served as Subject Editor, Associate Editor, or Editorial Board Member of 30 other archival journals. He has one book, 20 bound volumes, 24 book chapters, 350 refereed papers, 225 technical reports, and two US patents

Prof. Weidong Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the founder and director of its Dynamic Systems and Vibrations Laboratory and Optical Measurement Laboratory. He received his double major BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computational Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1986, and his MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and the University of California at Berkeley in 1988 and 1994, respectively. He is a recipient of the 2004 National Science Foundation CAREER Award. He has been an ASME Fellow since 2010, and has served as an Associate Editor of the ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics and the ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, and as a Subject Editor of the Journal of Sound and Vibration and Nonlinear Dynamics. His research spans the fields of dynamics, vibration, control, applied mechanics, meta materials, structural health monitoring, and renewable energy, and involves analytical development, numerical simulation, experimental validation, and industrial application. He has published 307 SCI-indexed journal papers in these areas and have eight issued U.S. patents. He is a recipient of the 2020 University System of Maryland Board of Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Research.

Dr. Dan Zhang is a Kaneff Professor and Tier 1 York Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at York University. Dr. Zhang was a Canada Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Automation, was a founding Chair of the Department of Automotive, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering with the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science at Ontario Tech University. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University, Canada, in June 2000. Dr. Zhang's research interests include synthesis and optimization of parallel and hybrid mechanisms; generalized parallel mechanisms research; reconfigurable robots; innovation design of parallel robots: parallelization of serial robots; micro/nano manipulation and mems devices (e.g., sensors); rescue robots; smart biomedical instruments (e.g., exoskeleton robots and rehabilitation robotics); AI/robotics/autonomous systems; Aerial and Underwater Robotics; Artificial Intelligence for Robotics; intelligent reconfigurable adaptive landing gear and manipulator (manipulander). Dr. Zhang's contributions to and leadership within the field of robotic and automation have been recognized with several prestigious awards, within his own university (Kaneff Professorship, Tier 1 York Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics, Research Excellence Award both from university level and faculty level), the Province of Ontario (Early Researcher Award), the professional societies (Fellow of CAE, Fellow of the ASME, Fellow of the EIC and Fellow of the CSME), and federal funding agencies (Canada Research Chair in January 2009 and renewed in January 2014). Besides, he was awarded the Inaugural Teaching Excellence by the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science of Ontario Tech University in 2006 and the Best Professor Award by Ontario Tech University Engineering Students' Society in 2012. Dr. Zhang has published 228 journal papers and 187 conference papers, 12 books, 9 book chapters and numerous other technical publications. Dr. Zhang has served as a General Chair for 67 International Conferences and delivered 116 keynote speeches. Dr. Zhang is listed as the World Top Two Percent Researchers by Stanford Standardized Citation Indicators in 2020 and 2021. Dr. Zhang is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), a Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and a Fellow of Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a Senior Member of SME.

Prof. Daining Fang is an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice-president of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. He has published more than 500 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member in several reputed journals of mechanics and materials science.

Dr. Zhang is professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2002. His research interests are novel composites and shape memory alloys for structural and functional applications with light weight and environmental friendship, including metal-matrix composites (MMCs), physics and chemistry in MMCs, composite interface, strengthening and toughening of MMCs, ferromagnetic shape memory alloys (FMSMAs), physics of martensite transformation and solid-state refrigeration. He has published over 140 academic publications in journals such as Nature Materials, Acta Materialia and Composites Part A. He also supervised a large number of research projects in the areas of MMCs and FMSMAs. His recent works focus on the simultaneous strengthening and toughening of aluminum matrix composites (AMCs) via architectural design and incorporation of nano-reinforcements with homogeneous distribution in nano-grained matrix created by dynamic crystallization strategy. He also works on the high efficient cooling technology and related materials in recent years for room-temperature refrigeration.

Dr. Zhang is currently a Professor in the Bharti School of Engineering and Computer Science at Laurentian University (Canada). He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Alberta (Canada) in 2005, and he was a NSERC post-doctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (USA) during 2005-2007. His research mainly focuses on computational modeling and numerical investigations of microscopic complex flows. Relevant research topics include red blood cell dynamics and microscopic blood flows, heat and mass transfer, porous and particulate flows, the lattice Boltzmann method, and nanofluids and microfluidics. Zhiquan Liu received the B.S. degree from the School of Science, Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 2017. He is currently a professor with the College of Cyber Security, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China, and his current research focuses on security, trust, and privacy in vehicular networks. Dr. Yingjia Zhang is a full professor of School of Energy and Power Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University, He serves as a colloquium co-chair for Chemical Kinetics at China National Symposium on Combustion in 2019-2021, a Convener for Laminar Flame and Chemical Kinetics at National Young Scholar Meeting on Combustion Research in 2020-2023,a section chair for the 38th International Symposium on Combustion and the 12th Asia-Pacific Conference on Combustion. He also awards board members of internal journals related to combustion, engine fuels and chemical kinetics. He earned this Ph.D in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics in 2011 at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Prior to promote professor in 2018, Dr. Zhang contributed multiple research projects at NUI Galway as a postdoctoral researcher. His main research interests are in the fields of combustion chemistry, laser diagnostics in reacting flow and nano technologies for propulsion and energetic applications. As a professor, doctoral supervisor, and deputy director of the department at Central South University, he has been engaged in research on vehicle structure analysis, structure optimization, the theory and application of new materials in train crashworthy structures, and acoustic metamaterials. He has published over 100 academic papers in well-known international journals, including 67 SCI papers and 12 EI papers. He has applied for 38 public invention patents, 27 of which have been authorized. He has won 6 provincial and ministerial awards along with 20 school-level awards. Dr. Abdollah Bahador is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with specializing in advanced metallic materials and processing. His main research interests include Ti, Al, Cu alloys and composites, shape memory alloys, and welding metallurgy. Prior to joining UTM, he worked at Osaka University (OU), Japan as Assistant Professor from mid-2018 to early 2023. He was a committee member of the project "Center to Create Research and Educational Hubs for Innovative Manufacturing in Asia" at the Joining and Welding Research Institute at OU. Bahador is (co-)author of more than 40 journal papers indexed by the Web of Science Core Collection. As a first author, he has published 15 papers in top-tier academic journals in the fields of materials engineering and advanced manufacturing. His reputational standing is reflected in his roles as invited/keynote speaker at several international conferences as well as guest editor, editorial board member, and reviewer board member for numerous reputable international scientific journals. Dr. Rostand Tayong is a Senior Lecturer in Automotive Engineering at the University of Bedfordshire (United Kingdom). His research activities encompass Automotive and Mechanical Engineering, Materials Testing and Characterisation, Acoustics and Vibration methods. His main work focuses on composite materials with an emphasis on 3D woven composites. He has (co-)authored more than 40 publications including book chapter contributions, journal articles and conference proceedings. Prior to his present position, Dr Rostand Tayong worked at the University of Bristol (United Kingdom) as a Research Associate. He has been the Principal Investigator (PI) for many funded research projects including some Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funded projects which aimed at characterising 3D Woven Composite materials using ultrasound methods. He was awarded many recognitions and prizes including the young scientist grant 2012 from the European Acoustics Association (EAA), the international young scientist grant 2012 from the International Noise Control Engineering (INCE, InterNoise) and the 2018 best presentation at the Early Career Researcher Event organized by the Research Centre in Non-Destructive Evaluation (RCNDE) in Nottingham (United Kingdom). He serves as Editorial board member and reviewer for various international scientific journals.

Adriano Fagali de Souza obtained his Dr in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo-USP, Brazil in 2004, manufacturing process. He is an associate professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina UFSC, BRAZIL. He acts and coordinates several research projects, in topics related to the manufacture employing the chain CAD / CAM / CNC - CAx - manufacturing of complex shapes. He is the leader of the Computer Aided Manufacturing Research Group - GPCAM. Author of the book 4 books on this field.
